Join us for a Spring Migration field trip at Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge with GA DNR biologist Dan Watson. We will explore the Wood Stork rookery and walk the Woody Pond Trail Loop (1.5 miles). Along the way, we'll keep our eyes and ears peeled for glimpses of migrating songbirds that only briefly pass through coastal Georgia. These species include Black-throated Blue Warblers, Cape May Warblers, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, and Scarlet Tanagers. Sunscreen, water, a hat, and insect spray are recommended. Meet at the parking lot at the entrance to the refuge (carpooling suggested).
